3 Mountain Of Light
Mountain Of Light turned in a much improved performance when getting up over 1600m last start and I expect he will only have come on with the run. Now third-up, he looks ready to peak for this. Tina Comignaghi jumping aboard is a big tick and while he's paying nothing close to the $51s on offer last time, he looks a nice each way price in an open field.

12 Corps D'elite
Corps D'elite's last start flop is one I'm willing to forgive, where she raced in restricted room throughout after being pushed hard to hold a position early. Her prior form was very good and Michael McNab now taking the steer looks a big assist. Expect to see her ridden cold off a strong tempo and be finishing off well at the end.

Riccarton Park Race 3
15 Oaksdeel
Oaksdeel's been performing consistently without winning of late and had very little luck last time. While she will get back from the wide draw, this race looks as winnable as any she has been in. With some luck from the wide draw and the right run into the race, she'll take some beating.

Riccarton Park Race 4
3 Best Rose
I don't think there's much between Best Rose and Zeila, who both would've taken a stack of improvement from the last time they met. Michael McNab now taking the steer on Best Rose looks a big tick and I think she can turn the tables from their last meeting.

Riccarton Park Race 5
5 Mystic Ocean
Mystic Ocean went to the line virtually untested here last time, where she spent much of the straight shifting ground and never got a chance to balance up with a runner shifting ground in front of her. She maps to get a similar quiet run off the speed in this and with better luck in running I think she can win a race of this quality.

Riccarton Park Race 6
2 Angels Wings
Angels Wings has been great in each of her two runs back from a spell. She maps to get a similar run to last start and with Michael McNab now jumping aboard she gets every chance to go one better this time.

Riccarton Park Race 7
1 Nortibutnice
Nortibutnice resumes here having last been sighted finishing down the track at Ashburton in October. She has had a nice hit-out at the trials in readiness for this resuming run and I wouldn't be surprised to see her run a race at odds.

Riccarton Park Race 8
1 Elegant Lady
Elegant Lady drops back in class for this despite being far from disgraced in much stronger company. She's fairly versatile as a rule, which gives Triston Moodley the ability to ride her as she jumps from the wide draw. The main concern is the 60kg impost, however, I think she has the class to handle it.

Riccarton Park Race 9
9 Bugatti
Bugatti has been mixing his form of late, however, his better form would see him thereabouts in what looks to be an even R65 contest. Expect to see him get back from the draw and be finishing off hard late. Happy to speculate on him at the price.
