Addington Harness Race 1
14 Tu Tangata

After managing to yet again work his way into the black book on Tuesday, Tu Tangata appears once again today. Brilliant effort to get as close as he did three days ago and while drawn slightly trickily here, this is a whole heap easier, and he should be able to dominate this field. Just needs to be a bit closer turning for home.
Selections: 14-12-3-8-10

Addington Harness Race 2
6 Ultimate Challenge

There's been enough in the lead up runs to today's race from Ultimate Challenge to suggest she's not the worst winning chance here. Good follower of speed, and there'll be plenty of that here, who could land herself in a handy enough spot from which to unleash. Offering up some huge each way value to see it unfold.
Selections: 6-9-8-2-7

Addington Harness Race 3
8 Habibti Pat

Brilliant up and coming trotter Habibti Pat couldn't have done anymore in her career to date. Kept on ice for a few weeks after her last win, astute stable will have things in check for today and with Blair Orange pulling the strings you just know you're going to get a good run for your money. Might press forward early and try and get in front of key rival Meant To Be.
Selections: 8-10-7-9-6

Addington Harness Race 4
2 Melody Banner

A bit to like about the late work of Melody Banner in a red-hot fillies field on Tuesday. She was charging through the line late. Can be a bit hit or miss with the manners but when she gets it right, she's very good. Handy enough draw and if she does everything right then she'll be hard to beat here.
Selections: 2-4-1-13-14

Addington Harness Race 5
9 Borrisokane

After his impressive victory on Tuesday, Borrisokane will be back on the radar of plenty of punters today. Big free wheeling pacer who won't be deterred by the outside front row draw. He'll balance up and work into it when he likes and if able to set own terms over the final half of the race, can win again.
Selections: 9-12-11-14-13

Addington Harness Race 6
4 Just Believe

It was a real honour to watch Just Believe do what he did in Tuesday's Dominion Handicap in the flesh. A super star trotter who really has no equal in this part of the world at the moment. No worries about the quick back up given he jogged it on Tuesday. Might not get it quite as easy here, but still the one to beat.
Selections: 4-5-8-1-11

Addington Harness Race 7
3 Youretheonethatiwant

Might pay just to put a line through the fresh up run of Youretheonethatiwant at Ashburton down here in the south, she's much better than that effort and shouldn't be measured on it. Things set up beautifully for her here form a good draw and you'll imagine they'll be quite keen on using the draw to advantage which makes her the horse to beat.
Selections: 3-1-4-9-10

Addington Harness Race 8
3 Keayang Zahara

Superstar Australian trotting filly Keayang Zahara has won 11 from 11 and comes over here with a huge reputation on her shoulders. Has to handle the hype of the trip and the occasion, but looks a beautifully rounded trotter who just takes everything in her stride. Hard to stop if she's free-wheeling in front.
Selections: 3-1-5-6-11

Addington Harness Race 9
6 Mantra Blue

Big advantage to Mantra Blue here today over her main rival Princess Meritaten given she draws inside her. Zachary Butcher is likely to look to take bad luck out of the equation and get things moving early. In front, doing her own thing, she becomes mighty hard to beat.
Selections: 6-9-8-7-5

Addington Harness Race 10
7 Chase A Dream

The barrier draw of the inside of the second row does nothing to help the chances of Chase A Dream, but he's an exceptional horse and exceptionals horses can do exceptional things. He draws anywhere other than here and he's a red-hot unbeatable favourite. Just needs a bit of luck, or Blair Orange magic, early to make something happen.
Selections: 7-2-6-11-10

Addington Harness Race 11
7 Gold Bullion

He was going to go close to victory on Tuesday Gold Bullion, but a late gallop ended his chances. The step up to the 2600m here will really suit him though and if he can find a nice rhythm early and keep his head down and focused then he'll take all sorts of stopping in this line up.
Selections: 7-9-15-12-4

Addington Harness Race 12
7 Merlin

A wee bit down on his best form in Tuesday's NZ Trotting Cup when running third, but still a mighty effort. The return to short course racing here should play right into his wheelhouse though and if he can find a good spot, perhaps outside the leader then he'll take all sorts of stopping here today.
Selections: 7-1-8-5-9
