Stonewall Stud debutant with some smart trial and workout form under the belt. Meets a pretty even field here and comes up with the ace draw so should be able to dominate them from the outset and deliver.

There's been plenty of forgiveness from punters so far in the career with mistakes creeping into the most recent starts, but there is a motor there. A complete performance today should net a winning turn.

9 Ari On Safari

Mid-race move at Methven on Sunday nearly worked the oracle. Brave effort to hold on for third and will just keep getting better with more racing. Trained here, so knows the track and looks hard to beat.

5 Saxon Reigns

Running out of chances with mistakes in both runs to the races, but there's a serious motor there and the big roomy Ashburton track should be a major assist. Just needs to stay down trotting and can deliver in style.

10 Jazzy's Upstart

Has looked very smart in all of the public runs leading into today's debut and knows his way around this place pretty well. Tricky draw to negate, but seems good coming off speed and with any luck can win this.

2 Special Effects

Building nicely toward a winning turn in the last two starts and the big roomy Ashburton track should really be of huge benefit here. Looks well over the odds for a horse who is a serious winning chance with any luck.

4 Star Magic

Form line hardly looks encouraging but generally does save some of the best form for this track. Won't get anything easier either because this is a wide open race with no real standouts. Good chance if up to it.

10 What A Minx

In a good vein of form at the moment and looking likely to pick up another win at short notice. Good chance here, although some luck needed from the inside of the second row. Blair Orange a good negate for that.

8 Style Council

Never in it in a huge field at Methven on Sunday but back on the all weather here and able to quickly recapture pervious form. Good looping into a race late and will get that chance here today. Each way all day.

Race 10
9 Pasternak

Up and coming trotter who got a bit too keen last time in a good field at Addington. Plenty of upside though and more than most in this race. Should be able to settle and then look to swamp them all late.

Race 11
6 Izacheapee

Has done all but win in the last two starts and Methven run was excellent. In a good space and should be able to turn that into winning form here with another positive drive. Deserves it and should get it.
