Race 1
7 Action Major

Dour effort on debut to finish fifth behind a couple of really nice ones when doing it tough. Should find this a little bit easier and if able to get down the markers, would be halfway toward success. Good enough to win, but might need things to go the right way.
Selections: 7-8-2-6-3

Race 2
3 The Royal Gamble

Goes in on top for consistency alone. Just doesn't seem capable of running a bad race at the moment and if able to trot onto the speed early and get the right kind of trip can be a major player when things get serious at the business end of things. Great each way fodder.
Selections: 3-8-10-13-7

Race 3
6 Kairaki Confidential

New comer to the Woodend Beach stable of the Dunns and looked pretty sharp with an eye-catching effort in a recent trial when making up a lot of ground late. Meets a pretty even looking field here tonight and from a handy enough draw is likely to look to roll forward at some point.
Selections: 6-7-2-1-4

Race 4
7 Triple G

Two really good seconds behind two really nice types in the last two performances and gets a golden chance to go one better here tonight. Should be able to dominate this field from the outset if they choose too and if left to his own devices out in front will simply be too good for them.
Selections: 7-8-6-4-5

Race 5
2 Radioactive Jaffa

Not a horse who wins them out of turn but got the opportunity at The Mot last week and took it with all four hooves. Good draw to work from again tonight in what is a very even looking race. Just needs that little bit of luck in the running to be primed to strike when things get serious.
Selections: 2-11-8-7-4

Race 6
6 Jimmy Carter

Grand performer who has been in the money on 21 occasions at Addington Raceway, winning seven times and placing on a further 14 occasions. Generally things come down to a good beginning for him, if he catches it right, he's in play. And if does that tonight he can certainly win.
Selections: 6-5-7-4-1

Race 7
7 Beach Ball

The big mover in the open class ranks through the later stages of last year and has it all in front of him in 2024. Kicks things off here after a let up and has been striding out well in his trials ahead of this. Won't be completely screwed down yet but good enough to still win this.
Selections: 7-6-3-2-5

Race 8
14 Mighty Logan

Couldn't have been any more impressive last time out when stepping out for the first time for the Dunn stable. Trotter with a huge motor and an even bigger future. Can't afford to miss a beat here tonight but with good manners and a sweet trip into it might just have too much speed once again.
Selections: 14-13-6-9-2

Race 9
4 Rakero Rocket

Well over the odds when winning last week and boy he was impressive doing it. Meets a very similar looking field here again tonight and if he can land in a forward position early from which to launch an attack it's hard to see a case in which he gets beaten.
Selections: 4-2-3-1-5

Race 10
3 Princess Meritaten

String of placings in her last three starts, some of them in behind quality opposition. Horse with a huge motor and from the good draw tonight should be on the speed throughout and with her class might simply be too good for them.
Selections: 3-7-6-4-5

Best: 4 Rakero Rocket (Race 9)
Next: 7 Triple G (Race 4)
Value: 2 Radioactive Jaffa (Race 5)
