One of Friday night's Manikato Stakes runners will be racing for new connections after an owner offloaded his percentage during the week.

A 10 percent share in Group 1 winner Charm Stone was sold for $310,000 in the Inglis Digital's September (Late) Online Sale.

The share was bought by Yulong, operating under the name Walnut Farm, and Rob Cummings, who offered the share, was thrilled with the result.

"I'm downsizing my breeding operation and Will Stott – who looks after me at Inglis – advised me to list the share on Inglis Digital," Cummings said.

"Inglis did a great job with the marketing and Will goes over and above and beyond.

"The ownership group have been great, I'm still good friends with them and I wish them, and the new part-owner, the best of luck with her Friday night and into the future."

Charm Stone, a daughter of I Am Invincible who was a $1.55 million yearling, will be chasing a second Group 1 success when she tackles Lady Shenandoah and company in the $2 million Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley.

The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained five-year-old, who has won four of her 12 starts, claimed the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville earlier this year.

Charm Stone is a $26 chance in the Manikato Stakes, in which she will be ridden by Blake Shinn and jump from barrier two.
