ROSEHILL November 29
Best Bets
RACE 4 - (5) BELLE DETELLE: Good mare ready to find her quality 3YO form when she won the G3 Adrian Knox over 2000m at Randwick before creditable G1 performances in the ATC and Queensland Oaks. Found the line nicely when resuming over 1500m at Randwick before doing her best work late when coming from last over 1850m at Newcastle. Well placed down in class on her home track.
RACE 5 - (7) SNACK BAR: Ex-Godolphin 4YO makes his debut for his new stable after an impressive trial win that has him primed to run to his best - and that's very good form for this class! His record includes Group placings behind the likes of G1 stars Autumn Glow and Lady Shenandoah and his honesty cannot be faulted as he has missed a place only three times in 13 starts. Favourable conditions on a track where he always performs well.
RACE 9 – (13) GOD'S WINDOW: Dual UK winner with Group placings up to 2400m is ready for his first Australian win after placings over 2000m and 2300m in two of his last three starts. Tough effort to chase home his stablemate Asterix at his last start in the Listed Beauford Stakes at Newcastle and rates to win off that form against a similar field.

TRIAL POINTERS
ROSEHILL November 18: All three 2YO heat winners showed good potential but Too Darn Hot DR HOOK colt is an obvious talent after his strong win in good time (54.87; 35.42). He was last after 150m before working around the field from the 600m and building momentum all the way to the finish with his best work through the line. Unraced 3YO colt IRISH WITCHY showed good improvement off his first trial to win his 900m heat in quick time (54.01; 34.06). Travelled easily from start to finish, extending under no pressure over the last 200m to score by 3.5 lengths.
HAWKESBURY November 17: Bjorn Baker's team for the summer looks strong with his team winning six heats. Baker likes to see horses run in their trials and that was the case with SNACK BAR. He is now a 4YO and maturity may be his asset as he looked in fine form recording a strong win in his 1000m heat in fast time (58.10; 32.55). He's now trialled twice since his spell and can be followed with confidence. Baker also won maiden heats over 1000m with the unraced Lonhro colt MONOTONE (60.73; 33.91) and ONE RUN WON (59.52; 33.60) and a heat for the 2YOs with smart Street Boss youngster EURIPEDES. He repeated his recent Rosehill trial win with another strong performance (47.44; 32.66) to beat INTERNAL AFFAIRS, another promising type who also trialled well at Rosehill on November 5.
WARWICK FARM November 13: Crack sprinter OVERPASS tuned up for another Perth visit with an easy second in the open heat over 1200m. He's rarely headed in trials but this time Josh Parr took hold from the start and was never asked for a serious effort, striding easily under a big hold to finish an easy second. Impressive work by Written By 4YO STORMFIELD to win his open heat over 801m in quick time (46.63; 32.94). He was always in control and went to the line as easy as you like with plenty in reserve in his second trial after a long spell, being off the scene since January. He's only had four starts for a country maiden win and should be well placed in suitable restricted company. KING'S SECRET was another to capture attention with his good effort for fourth in his 801m heat (46.64; 33.03). Several good maiden trials took the eye including KONSA.
ROSEHILL November 5: In the 2YO heats over 900m (54.39; 34.89) the debut trial of the Home Affairs youngster INTERNAL AFFAIRS to finish off nicely for third behind the subsequent winner Seeiaye took the eye. In the other heat (55.58; 33.10) EURIPEDES impressed with his smart second
HAWKESBURY October 21: Keen to follow unraced filly CHIX after she made an impression improving on two previous trial placings to win her 800m in sharp time (47.14; 32.81). Easy work for her to sit outside the leader and travel within herself to hold an advantage to the line.
RANDWICK October 20: In a deep open heat overt 1050m (64.04; 34.29) TOURISTIC had an easy time out the back but took the eye with strong late work through the line.
ROSEHILL September 9: Strong trial in the fastest 900m heat by the placegetter ATTRACTIVENESS.
