RANDWICK September 16

Horses to follow from the Randwick trials on September 16.

ROSELYN'S STAR (John O'Shea/Tom Charlton): This regular trial star has regrouped since two defeats in his two heavy/soft starts in August after some excellent winter trials. Back on his game on top of the ground in to win the fastest 1050m heat (63.46; 34.32) with plenty in hand.

ZEALOUSLY (Peter Snowden): Smart Harry Angel 4YO must be followed after winning his first trial since June, working better than the G1 star OVERPASS to win the fastest 740m heat (43.50; 33.19) under a soft ride with the race fit POLYGLOT a good third in a heat where the form is sure to prove itself.

HAWKESBURY September 15

Inside Grass; Soft 5

13 Heats – 7 x 1000m (2 Open; 5 Maiden); 6 x 800m (2 Open; 4 Maiden)

Horses to follow from a session where Kembla Grange-based trainer Mitchell Beer won four heats.

AMAZING EAGLE (Gerald Ryan/Sterling Alexiou): We know he has the talent and off this trial he will be well fancied to perform when he returns the races. As usual he was keen to run but there was plenty in reserve as he maintained an advantage for a classy win in his 800m heat (48.23; 32.98).

GRAND CAROUSEL (Mitchell Beer): Impressed by the effort of this Ole Kirk filly to finish second to her stablemate ROSE OF FENWAY in their 1000m maiden heat (60.21; 34.37). Had only one start last season and should be an improver through her coming campaign.

GREY RESOURCES (Blake Ryan): Debut trials don't come much better with this Capitalist gelding showing excellent natural pace to cruise through his 800m heat in fast time (47.36; 32.82). It's the type of speed that wins races.

SUNRISE (Mitchell Beer): We've seen flashes of this mare's brilliant speed in her three wins and she was explosive in her 1000m heat, clearing out to lead by 10 lengths before coasting home to score by seven in the fastest of the seven trials over the distance (59.10; 33.21). She's limited but just has to be placed right to add to her record.
