Shadhavar is in good form but won with pattern on side at this track/trip last start, I think she likely less suited here being rails in run with Surfin' Bird likely getting the spot outside leader. Yes Lulu was terrific first-up and is likely to get into the better lanes in the straight.
GREYHOUNDS
Ballarat: Race 4; #4 Aston Countach
Aston Countach looked like a superstar when winning on debut but has been disappointing ever since. Dropping back in distance, a squeeze draw and plenty of pace drawn around him all look like negatives and I'll be taking him on here.
Ballarat: Race 5; #5 Especial Kai
Especial Kai was brilliant at Bendigo last start but this is another level up. There's so much pressure drawn underneath here that this could get messy.
Ballarat: Race 9; #7 Aussie Classic
Aussie Classic won a very ordinary Maiden on debut and everything went right for it. There's enough pressure underneath him that he may struggle to find the early lead this time around.
HARNESS
Bendigo: Race 8; #1 Military Merit
Honest type but there is a bit of depth in this race & I'm not sure if the draw will be enough to help tonight. Looks a risk.
