Queensland racing focuses on the Gold Coast this weekend with the running of the $105,000 Pink Ribbon Cup.

There's over $750,000 in prize money on offer for connections at the Gold Coast this Saturday and we've found a couple of best bets early in the nine-race card.

Our top selection comes up in the Three-Year-Old Handicap in the form of Wisnierska out of the astute Kris Lees barn.

This filly by relatively new sire Anders had been plying her trade in much harder Sydney metropolitan contests, including getting up to Group 2 level when last in work, before hitting the frame behind two pretty smart ones at Doomben last time out. 

Doesn't strike anywhere near that quality this weekend, and gets gun hoop Damien Thornton on top from a favourable gate four. 

Gets out to the 1400m now which should suit, and the $5 currently on offer looks a viable 1W x 3P type wager.

Our next best is the Jack Bruce-prepared former Kiwi Sporting Chance who contests the race prior over the 1800m trip.

He had been competing in races like the New Zealand Cup across the ditch before landing on our shores, and this son of Dundeel has been right there in all four local starts since. 

Gets leading rider Ryan Maloney on board and comes right into calculations following a few key scratchings. 

Will be at peak fitness now and should give backers a sight.
