Taking on current race favourite NKOSI in the set up of this race today. He certainly impressed when making his stable debut at Wyong in a Class 1. He now takes a step up in level into a metro level race but 2nd up comes back down slightly in trip. This race shapes to have a hotter early tempo than the race he won at Wyong which could have him land in a different position in running and feel with the change in trip, he may be vulnerable at some stage.
I would expect these horses, especially those with the race fitness on their side to be too sharp for Vinrock first-up.
Caulfield: Race 7; #6 Zarastro 
Would have preferred a bit more rain to arrive and one or two of the scratched runners to stay in given they were go-forward horses, but still think Zarastro is a bit short here. He'll have to do a bit of work early, and he's got some progressive sprinters that map sweetly for a soft run behind him. Hoping something blouses him late.
Eagle Farm: Race 6; #7 Give Giggles
Has been racing well however there looks to be more pressure in this race and looking at recent starts her worst performances have been when in fast races.
