While Mickeys Medal has been in hot form in his last 2 wins, he again needs to take a step up in grade and find a new level again having done so in his last 2. Certainly capable, but in a race this open and up in grade I feel he is coming in under the odds at his current price.
Caulfield Race 9 #8 Yellow Sam
This is a step up in grade for Yellow Sam, who won well enough first-up at Swan Hill but was in very well at the weights and things panned out all very nicely. I have her longer in my market.
HARNESS:
Northam Race 6 #4 Gelsomino Amal
No real knock on the horse but unless she gets a really soft lead I think a couple of these might have the measure of Gelsomino Amal and anticipating her opening quite short.
