An interesting runner in Race 6 is Romancing The Rock who comes off a run in a Graduation.

The 5yo was back and wide much of the way, shuffled away to be last before the corner.

Eased to the very outside, he made a long sustained run to be beaten about 4L but looks like he is really wanting the mile now.

An improving track would be of benefit as will W Pike from a soft alley too. The field isn't laden with winning form so he gets his chance.

Over to the last where there is some value with Excellent Dream who gets a big drop in grade and looks to take advantage of that even with the weight increase.

The 4lbs off for Victoria Corver means he can hopefully find the front as he likes and sprint hard and fast from the corner.

He tried that very tactic in the Listed Belmont Newmarket two weeks ago and was very brave to hang onto third.

We want him to be out of trouble and using his added fitness compared to a few of the rivals.
