Winning Trainer: Tony Gollan (rep by Craig Cavanough)
"The run over 5 1⁄4 f the other day, a great win it was.
"That man B Thompson can't do a thing wrong today and legging him up he was full of confidence when he got on the horse here.
"Tony left it to him and said, If he doesn't know how to ride it now, he shouldn't be riding He rode it to a tee."
The horse: "He's come ahead leaps and bounds since last perp. He always had a hard mongrel look about him last preparation but we couldn't get him right.
"He went out for a little break and he's come back a totally different hose.
"To win like that today - a good field - he's a lovely horse."
Winning Jockey: Ben Thompson
"It wasn't (easy) through the run. I could have rode him better not that I was being caught three-wide but I let him slide for too long to let him come across with En Pointe and let him sit one off the fence.
"I should have have had a breather for an extra 50 or 0 and accepted being three-wide.
"Once the scratchings came out there was less pressure and the only horse only my outside that was going to pressure was En Pointe and once I couldn't keep up with it I should have put him to sleep three-wide and thankfully I was one superior horse.
"Once I didn't put him to sleep until the 850 I thought I'm going to have to wait as long as I can now.
"They put an extra two length on me between the 500 and the 300 but I was confident that if I didn't move on him before the 300, I'd have a lot of horse late.
"He's a ripper.
"He ran into good horses last time - Golden Boom, Hidden Wealth - but when Tony Gollan is confident, that is all you need."
