Winning Trainer: Tony & Maddysen Sears
"I own him with Jenelle Webster. He's so special.
Last start: "If he'd got the inside rail he probably would have won. Ben rode him a treat. He knows him like the back of his hand.
Today: "We came to the races today really confident but things just had to go right that he'd win and I thought he'd win like that.
"When they went hard like that in front I thought 'just go a bit harder' and keep the tempo up like that."
As owner and trainer, how will she celebrate: "I'm not allowed to drink at the moment but when I can I'll be blind."
Steady Ready scratched from 3yo Jewel: "He had a high temperature and the welfar e of the horse is the more important thing. There's plenty more races for him."
Winning Jockey: Ben Thompson
"It worked out really nicely but I'll be honest, it was a bit tricky. We drew barrier four which is much better than the 15 that he drew last time.
"There were two notable pace horses in Applications and Rose Of Duporth both drawn on my inside. I jumped really well so I didn't mind where I settled. It was a good rush to the front so I ended up on the fence with an economical run.
"I thought they were going quick and that they should open up in time. He's a lovely horse and a great training effort. He's come back great and that is now his third Saturday win and his best runs have been over 2200m.
"He's very exciting and he's a really nice horse to look at and even better to sit on top He's got a bright future."
