An extra kilo wouldn't have stopped him last time out had he had clear running and a slightly wider draw this weekend hopefully means that won't be an issue again.

Unbeaten in three starts but faces a bigger test today at Group 3 level. Had the run of the race last time but with the tricky barrier nine here won't get it so easy. If he's in touch on the turn - which he can be - watch him late and minor money will do just fine for us.
MOONEE VALLEY - Race 4 3 - MATRON BULLWINKLE (WIN)
Does rise 9lbs from her narrow last-start defeat but that was in a tougher race than this and at her first try at 1 1⁄4 m. Horses generally improve after the benefit of one run at that trip and she should be primed to peak at her fourth run back from a lengthy spell.
