Say from SA: Morphettville - Saturday, 19th November 2022

Morphettville Parks is the host for South Australian racing this Saturday and with a nine-race card set there’s winners to be found.

Although it was disappointing to lose Morphettville last Saturday, it made getting over the hump day a whole lot easier with the meeting postponed to Wednesday.

We are back on the Parks surface this Saturday in what is a quick turnaround from Wednesday's transferred card. The track is currently rated a Soft 5 but with rain forecast, there is a serious possibility we see a downgrade throughout the day.

Our best plays this week come in quick succession with two runners who are on the without further ado let's get into it.

The first of our plays pops up in race seven - I'm with the lightly raced five-year-old Dazzling Prospect at an each-way quote.

Drifting back to the rear fresh when resuming here a fortnight ago, Dazzling Prospect took some time to warm to his task in the straight but when he did the son of Reset lengthened attractively. Finishing strong through the line for sixth, the gelding was striding up alongside the winner shortly after the winning post.

Stripping fitter, Dazzling Prospect was a second up winner in his debut campaign and looks well suited by the extra 1 1⁄4 f. Sure to be climbing over their backs late to fight out the finish.

Our other best play of the day comes in the race straight after with the highly promising and undefeated Takshaka.

Under the tutelage of the smart Melbourne Cup winning trainers Ciaron Maher & David Eustace, the three-old son of Lord Kanaloa has enjoyed a bright start to his racing career winning at both outings. Takshaka didn't give his rivals a sniff here at the latest when leading pillar to post. Senior rider Todd Pannell unites and will look to implement similar tactics from the low draw. In a race lacking much other engaged speed, expect Pannell to find the front early and prove too tough to reel in over the concluding stages.

Bet of the day: Race 7 #6 Dazzling Prospect E/W @ $11/3.40

Also backing: Race 8 #6 Takshaka  @ $2.90
