Improvement second up: "He definitely put the writing on the wall, he had very good form around him. Second up today, he had a nice jumpout in between runs."
During the run: "They were all jostling for positions, it was a bit of a messy race in between we were in the three wide no cover line, he fell asleep underneath presented at the top of the straight and he kept finding for I asked for an effort and he delivered. He's a tough little boy, when a horse came up and challenged him he fought them off."
One win away from outriding claim: "We're getting close, one more city winner to It'd be nice to do it today but if not, in a couple of weeks time. It's an honour to be riding here and to outride the claim in the near future."
