Sydney Specials: Randwick - 17th July 2021

Really found myself clutching at straws this morning and despite their being 10 races I struggled to see where I can get involved.

The Maher & Eustace trained La Chevalee has been well found and rightfully so however hard to suggest there is any meat left on the bone.

Won't see many bigger jockey switches and she's drawn to settle a lot closer this time around.

She should have won two back and didn't have the best of luck last start.

It all points to her being very hard to beat but so does her early price.

I'd like to say I think she'll drift, but I can't see who they'll back to beat her, best of luck to those that jagged the good early price.

In third event the Kris Lees trained Kinloch can improve and a big tick with McDonald back aboard.

An impressive winner two back he simply got too far back last start when closing off well behind The Big Easy.

Not sure he was in the best ground and should be better suited getting to 1200m.

His get back racing pattern is low percentage but there looks to be good speed engaged, just hope they are able to make up ground.

If McDonald can find a back to follow he can mow them down in the straight.

Sticking with a backmarker in the last which could have none if they can't make up ground, but confident Irish Angel is back in great order.

A handy winner fresh at Canterbury she confirmed that level of performance when an eye catching second last start behind Magic Ruler.

A key sectional mark up she rates well down in the weights and with plenty of speed engaged she just needs to keep in touch early.

Few better wet track riders than Jason Collett and if able to find the best ground she looks a good each-way bet.

Simon Dinopoulos' Tips:

Race 3 #5 Kinloch @ $7.00

Race 10 #11 Irish Angel @ $7
