So You Win dropped back to the mile last time and hit the line hard, missing by just a nose at Sunshine Coast.
He is much better suited by the extra 2 f and ratings suggest he will be hard to hold out.
Gotta Kiss has a touch of class and could show what she is capable of when taking on her own age and sex in the final race on the card.
The Steven O'Dea-trained filly settled last when resuming over 5 f but caught the eye finding the line well.
That was her first outing since she powered home for second to Rothfire in the G1 JJ Atkins over the winter and she will appreciate the extra 1 f with a run under the belt.
