Brisbane Best - Doomben - September 15

Tversky will look to continue his terrific recent form when he lines up in open company over 1200m at Doomben on Saturday.
The Gary Duncan-trained runner has won all three races this campaign, getting the better of the likes of Capital Connection and Fiery Heights who have since gone on to run well again.
Tversky remains over the 6 f trip and lines up in just a field of seven on this occasion and his recent form rates well against his rivals on weight adjusted ratings.
The five-year-old gelding who does carry more weight today is building a terrific career record, winning seven of his 17 starts, placing on a further five occasions.
In this small field Dale Smith is likely to push forward again on Tversky to settle on the speed with Darktown Strutter and expect Tversky to prove too strong once again.
The current price of $2.50 looks a good bet and I would not be wanting to take anything below $2.20.
Later in the day Bold Xavvi shapes up as a strong each way chance when he lines up in the NMW race over 5 1⁄4 f.
Bold Xavvi comes off a very strong effort when third to Tactical Advantage last start over 5 f at the Sunshine Coast and that form reads well for this today.
Ryan Wiggins will push forward again today from barrier 10 and he does his best racing over this trip where all five wins have come previously.
The Garnett Taylor-trained runner is yet to win here at Doomben but has placed in three of five and the $6.50 on offer currently looks a strong each way bet.
The resuming Goldfinch certainly looks the one to beat off some strong form in Sydney last campaign but at the odds happy to be on Bold Xavvi today.
Good luck!
Bet of the day: Race 4 #5 Tversky @ $2.50
Each way play: Race 6 #5 Bold Xavvi @ $6.50
