Brisbane Best - Sunshine Coast - September 1

Sunshine Coast will once again host the feature meeting in Queensland this Saturday with nine races on the program.
Looks Like Elvis has come back in terrific order this campaign, winning three of his four starts and running a luckless second on the other occasion.
Last start at the Gold Coast he found a nice spot off the leaders before running on well to get the better of Reach For Heaven, and he returns to the Sunshine Coast where he has won his only previous start.
The Bryan Davis-trained runner has been placed to perfection again by the stable in a benchmark 80 over 7 f and with the 4lbs claim for Jag Guthmann-Chester gets in very well at the weights.
From barrier seven it will be interesting to see where he settles but if he can find some cover off the speed expect him to be getting home over the top of his rivals.
The current price of $2.20 is short enough and probably won’t want anything below $2.10 but you would expect him to be too good for his rivals in this field.
Later in the day Fiery Heights shapes up as an each way chance when he lines up in open company over 6 f.
The Barry Lockwood-trained runner returned in terrific fashion for the new stable when beating Malvern Estate by over three lengths in a Class 6 at Doomben and he rates very well off that effort.
Fiery Heights has a good second up record previously with two wins from four starts and he tends to do his best racing over the 6 f trip.
Takes on the Kris Lees runner Dal Cielo who won at the Gold Coast last start following some strong form in Sydney but at the odds prefer to play Fiery Heights each way at $6.50.
Brad Stewart should have Fiery Heights close to the speed again from barrier 5 and I would not be surprised to see him get the win again.
Good luck!
Bet of the day: Race 5 # 5 Looks Like Elvis @ $2.20
Each way play: Race 7 #5 Fiery Heights @ $6.50
