Brisbane Best - Doomben - June 23

The final Group 1 of the carnival will be run at Doomben on Saturday which will feature the very competitive Tatt’s Tiara (1350m).
Earlier in the day No Annamossity (Race 4 will look to continue his strong form when he lines up in the Class 6 Plate (1350m).
Resuming with a second placing in similar company over 5 f at Ipswich, the Robert Heathcote-trained runner then went on to win over this C/D last start in a Benchmark
There was a lot to like about that win when coming from midfield and apprentice jockey Boris Thornton remains on board and will claim the 7lbs, bringing the weight down to 120lbs.
No Annamossity should settle around midfield again today from barrier 3 and the $3.40 on offer looks a good bet in this company.
Foxy Housewife has certainly improved her recent form and there was a lot to like about the second placing to Magic Alibi last week but she backs up quickly today and will need plenty of luck from the wide draw.
The Group 1 Sky Racing Tatt’s Tiara (1350m) looks a very competitive race for the girls which leads to a host of each way chances.
Champagne Cuddles (Race 8 #15) has certainly announced herself as a horse going places this campaign, following up her terrific Gold Coast Guineas win with two third placings in Group 1 company.
The Bjorn Baker-trained runner gets back onto a good track today which should allow her to show a more devastating turn of foot than she did in the Stradbroke last start.
The current price of $5.50 offers a solid each way bet and based on what she has not only produced this campaign but last campaign as well you would expect her to be right in the finish.
From barrier 3, Corey Brown should settle just off the speed which you would expect to be strong and fourth up now should be ready to fire.
Good luck!
Bet of the day: Race 4 #4 No Annamossity @ $3.40
Each way play: Race 8 #14 Champagne Cuddles @ $5.50
