Morphettville Parks Races Review - 10th March 2018

Skillful Steps was successful in winning the third race in succession when he took out the 1550 metre opening race on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.
Coming out of the Richard Jolly stable and having the servicers of Paul Gatt Skillful Steps came from came from fourth with a strong run over the concluding stages.
The Shayne Oxlade prepared Robocop broke a 503 day drought when he took out the 2400 metre second race.
Guided to victory by apprentice Alfred Chan Robocop came from near the rear to win.
Racing for the second time after a spell M’Lady showed good form when she won the 1000 metre third race.
Being under the care of Murray Bridge based mentor Rob Wilkinson and piloted to victory by apprentice Dylan Caboche M’Lady raced in the leading division throughout the event.
Showing pace throughout the event Charossa led all the way to give trainer Gordon Richards and hoop Ryan Hurdle victory in the 1300 metre fourth race.
Horseman Gordon Richards brought up a race to race double when Enki took out the 1550 metre fifth race.
Having the services of Melbourne apprentice Chris Caserta and bringing up win number four from twenty eight starts came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.
Hoop Todd Pannell continued his good winning strike rater when he guided Heart Conquered to its first win iin the 1000 metre sixth race.
Having started once before and then being turned out for a spell the Hawkes training combination of John, Michael and Wayne was heartened with the win of Heart Conquered with the colt being well placed in breaking his maiden status.
Trainer Will Clarken continued his good run when Affray took out the 1400 metre seventh event.
Guided to victory by Jake Toeroek, Affray, who was coming off a last start seventh at Moonee Valley, came from third with a well timed run.
Melbourne apprentice Chris Caserta continued his love affair with Morphettville racing when Moon Spinner presented him with the second leg of a double in the 1000 metre eighth race.
Being under the care of Tony McEvoy and bringing up his second win Moon Spinner came from a worse than midfield position to win.
A pick up ride at the expense of Jack Hill for Paul Gatt brought up a double when Iconoclasm won the final event which was run over 1300 metres.
Coming out of the Warrnambool stable of Darren Weir and recording his second successive win Iconoclasm jumped awkwardly but quickly corrected and settled fourth before going on to win.
