Brisbane Best - Doomben - March 10

Aquatic looks well placed to make it three wins on the trot when he lines up in the Class 6 over 1600m at Doomben on Saturday.
The Chris Waller-trained runner has been racing very well in Sydney, winning his last two, the most recent over this trip at Warwick Farm in a Benchmark
Aquatic rates very well against his rivals today on recent efforts and from barrier 4 could settle a touch closer than he has the last couple.
Jeff Lloyd goes on board for the first time and racing in career best form over the mile where he is undefeated from two starts this looks a very nice race for him.
The current price of $2.50 looks a good bet for a horse with his form with the only slight concern the track condition.
Probably a better horse on top of the ground however has performed on slow going previously and if he runs anything near his best he will be too good for these.
Later in the day stablemate Queen Of Heights will be looking for some luck from the wide draw when she lines up in the Benchmark 70 Handicap (1600m).
Scoring a win over the 1 3⁄16 m at Canterbury four back, Queen Of Heights has run well in three outings since in Sydney and looks very well placed dropping back to the mile where she has a good record.
Expect Jeff Lloyd to be positive from the wide draw and her recent efforts in Sydney rate well against her rivals on weight adjusted ratings.
Diamonds Are certainly shapes up as the one they have to beat off three wins however at the Queen Of Heights looks a strong each way chance and should be right in the mix.
Good luck!
