Brisbane Best - Doomben - March 3

Jadentom has been racing in terrific form of late and will prove hard to hold out when she lines up in the Benchmark 80 Handicap over 1350m at Doomben on Saturday.
Having not finished worse than runner up in her last five outings, the Lindsay Hatch-trained runner scored a good win over the 6 f at Doomben two back before running a narrow second to Fortensky over this C/D last start.
That form reads well for today with Fortensky racing in terrific order of late and remaining over the 6 3⁄4 f will suit Jadentom very well today.
From barrier 2 expect Brad Stewart to push forward again and settle on the speed and despite the extra weight she has to carry today she looks the one they have to beat today.
Clockwork Orange and Don’t Tell Mama both offer some stiff competition but if Jadentom can run up to her recent form and quite lightly raced even improve she should be returning to the winners circle.
Later in the day happy to stick with Fotensky who has been racing in very good form this campaign, winning three of four and placing on the other occasion.
Got too far back over 6 3⁄4 f at Doomben last start but was able to make terrific ground in the straight to score a narrow win over Jadentom.
With Robbie Fradd suspended from that ride, Jim Byrne goes on board for the first time and the drop to 6 f where he has a good record will not pose any troubles.
The Chris Waller-trained runner measures up very well against his rivals today and the current price of $4.40 looks a good price for a horse with his form.
Good Luck
Bet of the day 1: Race 5 #7 Jadentom @ $2.40
Bet of the day 2: Race 9 #3 Fortensky @ $4.40
