Brisbane Best - February 17

Fortensky heads north for trainer Chris Waller and looks well placed when he lines up in the Class 6 over 1350m to finish the program.
The four-year-old gelding has been in very good form this campaign, winning two of his three starts and running a close second on the other occasion.
Narrowly beaten by Faraway Town at Randwick over 6 f, Fortensky produced a strong effort to win at Canterbury last time out and he rates very well on the back of those two runs.
Has drawn a touch awkward in barrier 13 and expect jockey Robbie Fradd to push forward and settle on the speed hopefully with some cover.
Fourth up now should be ready to show his best and with a very good record over this distance range he looks the best of the day.
The current price of $3.80 looks a good bet for a horse with his recent form and expect Jadentom to prove among the hardest to beat but she will need to improve off her recent wins in easier company.
Earlier in the day Rhyming will be looking to go one better when she lines up in the Class 3 over 1 m.
The four-year-old mare has been racing in very good form of late, winning in easier at Toowoomba three back and has not been far away in two runs since, beaten by the barest of margins in a Benchmark 70 over the mile at this course last start.
Slightly up in trip today but her recent efforts rate well against her rivals with the 125lbs and Larry Cassidy will remain on board.
Current price of $5 looks a good each way bet and expect the Steve Tregea-trained runner to be fighting out the finish of this race.
Good luck!
BRISBANE BEST.
