Brisbane Best - December 16

The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained runner has come back in terrific order winning the Group 3 Summoned Stakes before running a close third over 1 1⁄8 m at Sandown last start.
Goes up in trip where untried for this but is the clear class runner of the race and Corey Brown goes on board for the first time.
Expect the four-year-old mare to not be far away in the run from barrier 6 and if she runs up to anything near her last two outings she will be too good for these.
Short enough at $2 but is destined for bigger things this preparation and with just the 119lbs today this looks a very good race.
Later in the day Oink will return in the Class 6 over 6 f following some strong form last campaign, winning at Doomben over 6 3⁄4 f prior to a spell.
Has finished third in a recent barrier trial and has a solid first up record previously, winning 2/4 and placing on the other two occasions.
Needs luck from the very wide draw today but he is a horse that rarely runs a bad race and at the current odds of $9 looks a solid each way bet.
Likely to find himself in the second half of the field and will be getting to the line strongly.
Good luck
