Sir Isaac To Relish The Return To The Polytrack at Kranji

Sir Isaac has been threatening to win this campaign and should relish getting back on the Polytrack when he lines up in a Class 3 over 1000m on Sunday.
Returning with a very nice win in a Kranji Stakes C over 6 f, the Cliff Brown-trained runner then had no luck when sixth behind Bao Shan Magic in a Class C over 6 f.
Sir Isaac then went on to run a solid fourth in a class 3 behind Super Fortune over 6 f last start, making decent ground in the straight on that occasion after settling just worse than midfield.
The four-year-old Dream Ahead gelding has since won a trial over 5 f sporting a visor, hitting the line nicely in 60.44.
Sir Isaac has done his best racing on the Polytrack, with his first up win coming in fine fashion over 5 1⁄2 f, beating Mighty Conqueror and Golden Tomahawk.
The Cliff Brown stable has been in terrific form of late, taking out the Group 1 Raffles Cup last start and Sir Isaac should be able to continue the strong form for the stable today.
From the middle draw with Michael Rodd on board, Sir Isaac should find a spot around midfield and with decent tempo will be getting to the line very strongly.
Skywalk looks the main danger and comes out of the same race as Sir Isaac last start when returning from a spell.
Should take good improvement from his first up run and is back on the Polytack for the first time since winning on debut.
Certainly looks to have ability and if you go back to last campaign he finished runner up to Gilt Complex in a Class 3 who took out the Raffles Cup last week then finished fourth to Countofmontecristo in the three-year-old sprint.
All that form reads well for a race like this and he has also won when second up previously as well.
Needs a bit of luck from the wide draw but expect him to roll forward once again and with the extra fitness will take plenty of running down.
Cadet also comes off a trial win leading into this, running the 5 f in 60.10 and should relish the drop back to 5 f where all three previous wins have come.
Was okay first up last start when finishing midfield in a 67 over 5 1⁄2 f and is likely to improve off that effort today.
All 11 career runs to date have come on the polytrack and down in the weights today with the good draw should push forward and take plenty of running down.
Red Dawn rounds out the main chances and has been very consistent in this grade of late.
Has won over the 5 f trip previously and if he can run up to his recent form there is not reason he can’t run into the placings despite the weight.
Good luck!
