Henderson picks up double

“It’s always a thrill winning on your home track and to win two was a great thrill,” Henderson said.
Bobo So Good picked up his maiden victory in just his second start despite Henderson’s concerns about the Heavy 11 track.
“Friday was too heavy for him,” he said. “I was a bit worried about that but he managed to get through it.”
The win continues the Zoffanygelding’s strong run of form and he has been earmarked for a tilt at the Gr.1 Al BastiEquiworldNZ 2000 Guineas in November, although track conditions will play a factor in that decision.
“He probably wants a bit of cut in the ground. He hasn’t got the best legs, so if it gets a bit hard we might have to look at another option.”
Jockey Samantha Collett teamed up with Henderson once again in the El Hermano @ Cheval Stud 1580 to win aboard Keeper gelding Keep Up who had previously been set to race at Wanganui.
“I didn’t really want to go to Wanganui for a wet track and a gut buster second up, so it was a good option (to stay),” Henderson said.
“With 54 kilos it took a bit of weight off his back and it was good to have him back in the paddock within 10 minutes after the race.”
