Best From The West - August 26

Progressive mare Bonny Be Good returned in slashing form last start and appears well placed to go back-to-back at Belmont on Saturday.
Only lightly raced the daughter of Blackfriars notched up her third win from 10 starts, when sweeping home from the rear over 6 f.
Off the scene for close to a year (315 days), she is sure to derive plenty of improvement from that effort and the engagement of Pike further aids her chances.
Bonny Be Good has won three of four attempts at Belmont and is unbeaten in two attempts over this trip.
From the wide draw she is likely to get back, however she possesses a very sharp turn of foot and should be able to work home over the top.
Better than 6/4 is being offered about her chances, which presents good value as we have her marked odds-on.
Handy galloper Diablerie shapes as the main danger, however suspect Bonny Be Good possesses more upside and she can have his measure again.
One of the many promising types in the Team Williams stable, Bonny Be Good is sure to be very hard to beat.

Stablemate Ragnar's Saga broke through for a deserved win last start and can go on with the job in the seventh event.
A galloper who has always been held in high regard, he only joined Team Williams in May and now appears back on track.
Ragnar's Saga proved too sharp for Dark Prospect last start, form which we have since seen franked during the week and he appears set to relish the step up to the mile.
The Wizard legs back aboard and he is sure to make his presence felt.
