Guided to victory by Paul Gatt, Kellstorm came from well back to take the event.
Horseman Darren Weir brought up the second leg of a back to back double when Poseidon’s Pool was too strong for his rivals in the 1050 metre third race.
Ridden to victory by versatile jockey John Allen, Poseidon’s Pool settled in a midfield position before pulling away from his rivals late in the event.
Hoop Paul Gatt brought up a well deserved double when he guided Barood to victory in the 1050 metre fourth race.
Prepared at Naracoorte by Sue Murphy Barood came from a rearward position and released a strong run in the straight to win his second race from thirteen starts.
Having the services of apprentice Victor Wong the promising Go The Journey brought up back to back wins in the 1200 metre fifth race.
Prepared by Richard Jolly and bringing up win number six form eighteen starts Go The Journey led all the way.
Jamie Kah brought up a career milestone, her 500th winner, when she guided Balf’s Choice to victory in the 1600 metre sixth race.
Bringing up a quartet of wins the Ryan Balfour trained Balf’s Choice came from the rear of the field to be three wide on the home turn before going on to win.
After returning from injury a fortnight ago jockey Dom Tourneur got back into stakes winning mode when he rode Bandipur to victory in the 1050 metre listed Lightning Stakes.
Prepared by James Cummings Bandipur was well placed and came with a strong run in the straight to bring up his second win from four starts.
Trainer Ryan Balfour brought up his second winner for the day and his fourth in seven days when his charge Infinity Queen got the verdict in a close finish in the 1200 metre final event.
Having the services of Matthew Neilson, Infinity Queen came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.
