Mudgee Race 8 @ 4:25pm

Samikosha may lead off the 2 gate and a moderate tempo at best. PERSONABLE has improved with the rise in distances and capped it with a comfortable win in a Bathurst 55. The well-bred Bjorn Baker galloper will sit handier off this gate and is clearly the one to beat with Ryan sticking. LOUD ENOUGH found Canterbury a bit tough LS but the previous stacks up. He’ll be right in it with a return to that. KIARRA ROSE won a 55 three back and has been okay in stronger grade than this since. Gets a wide gate but a bounce wouldn’t surprise. BIG BEN THE CLOCK is an improver who is also in the mix. SELECTIONS: #10 Personable looks one of the better bets on the program and backing accordingly from #1 and #4.

Sale: Race 5 @ 2:00pm

A big field can generate the speed. LITTLE MISS TOFFEE came from last to be placed when resuming. She stays at that distance but has clearly come back better. Hope the inside is not a drawback. DETONATION gets the blinkers back on. Is bred to be anything but needs to show it. LITTLE BITA SASS will be running on. Away from the synthetic tracks is positive. TARA ITI is one to watch returning off racing better. SELECTIONS: #9 Little Miss Toffee to win. Save on #4 Tara Iti.
Launceston: Race 6 @ 3.05pm

BY THE POUND makes his Tasmanian debut after making all to shed his maiden tag over 6 f at Warracknabeal last start. Should be suited in the Apple Isle and drawn to receive all of the favours. NEWTS was making late ground first up at Hobart. Fitter for the run and better suited up to this trip. McCoull another positive lead. FAREWELL ANGELINA was ultra consistent last campaign. Resumes here and has placed in each of her two prior first up outings. SELECTIONS: Straight out #1 By The Pound from #2 and #7.
Toowoomba: Race 6 @ 3:10pm

CHIEF JOSEPH followed up on his dominant success two back when only narrowly beaten in Open company last start. Returned a new career peak on that occasion and a repeat should see him right in the finish again. SELFIE hasn't been far off the mark in recent efforts and is certainly more than capable on best form. Drawn well and looms as a major threat. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #6 Chief Joseph from #3.
Nowra: Race 6 @ 3:35pm

Klisstra, Jayko and Brimstone all vie for the early lead. KLISSTRA meets this off two impressive city placings. She loves the wet tracks this time of year and appears ready to win down in grade. COYS placed here fresh but last couple have only been fair. Struggles to sprint in the wet conditions which he finds again today but is capable of running a bold race with the class edge. QUEENIAN for the wider exotics.SELECTIONS: Keen on #7 Klisstra from #5 and #4.
Bordertown Race 7 @ 4:35pm (AEST)

Four or five speedy types engaged who are capable of leading should connections elect with PRIME SUSPECT the one most likely. The gelding has won and made the quinella in better company since resuming and looks very well-placed. He’ll come off an insider gate with the handy claim. GRUMPY GURU is feared following the near miss 2U at Balaklava in stronger grade. Responded to the blinkers and can go on. SHY FRANK sits handy and has place claims again with the apprentice going on. RED BEGONIA resumes off city races and is a market watch. SELECTIONS: Backing # 8 Prime Suspect and standing with #4 Grumpy Guru in exotics.
Kalgoorlie: Race 5 @ 5:15pm (AEST)

REVEREND JOHN couldn't have been more impressive at this C&D last start when leading throughout to score comfortably by 3L. Was marked up to his best on that occasion and only has to hold that form to be winning again. STREET BANDIT hasn't been far off the mark in recent efforts and notably caught the eye late at Belmont last start behind Come On Board. Better suited back in this grade and while yet to fire over this trip, he rates highly and looms as a major threat. DON'T SPEED was only narrowly edged out at this C&D last start and appears the next in line from the favourable draw. SELECTIONS: Sticking with impressive last start winner #2 Reverend John from #4 and #8.
